
"The Ethical Banker" project involved the creation of a statue depicting Oscar Amedeo Giannini (1870-1948), the founder of Bank of America, financier of Walt Disney, and philanthropist for the community of Italian entrepreneurs affected by the Los Angeles earthquake.
This project aimed to honour Amedeo Peter Giannini, a financial innovator who viewed finance as an ethical tool to support and improve the lives of individuals, businesses, and both local and international communities.
Monnalisa's Foundation sought to pay tribute to the moral stature of an Italian who founded the Bank of Italy, later becoming Bank of America, recognized as a visionary banker of the people.
The project participants included: Fondazione malattie renali del Bambino Onlus dell'Ospedale Gaslini di Genova, Comune di Favale di Malvaro (GE), Comune di Monte San Savino (AR).
